Flyswatters and Calendar-Abandoned North Dakota

Taken in an abandoned house near Stanley, North Dakota. After talking to a lady that lived down the road from this place, I learned that the man who lived here spent his winters in Arizona. One year, he simply stayed there and walked away from his life in North Dakota. The house still had pans and food in the cupboards, and easy chair in the living room and a box of True Detective magazines  from the 1970’s up in the attic. An interesting place that has sat vacant since 1982. Maybe with the oil boom in the area, it might be restored. I just liked how this “still life” presented itself. The calendar kind of balances out the flyswatters.
